Can you please stop with the grossly biased, Xbox One kiss-ass threads?

I came in hoping for an unbiased look into all 3 consoles and companies and how they will get innovative this gen and then I get this. Or at the very least put it in the microsoft forums.

Ok I will stop.

I apologize for saying it so harshly. This whole next gen has me on edge.

Apology accepted.

Nexgen is going to be so awesome both the PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry Wii-U

Wii U will be awesome as well

Here's the way I see things. With a few exceptions, the better the graphics, the higher the focus on realism. The more you focus on realism, the less fun the game, in my oh-so humble opinion. I'll take a SNES game with tight, responsive controls and the ability to jump on my own over a semi on-rails "next gen" game with "realistic animations and physics" any day.

Oh, and once you get to the point where simulated car seat fibers are a big deal in a racing game, there's something seriously wrong.

You can still have fun with a realistic game, it is all about how you do the gameplay, but, I do agree with you that there is too much focus on realism.

They could kill two birds with one stone by making more innovative graphics! :P

Which company are you talking about?

Sega, definitely.

OT: Sounds like something Mr. Iwata said back when they released the Wii. Hrm... maybe you're right.

I laughed at this qoute tree.

As always, graphics aren't the most important aspect of a game. However, the prettier the game looks, the better, of course. Smooth framerate also makes gameplay better, so they can be somehow related.

I don't buy the 'better with Kinect' stuff, though. I've tried it and hated it, so unless Kinect 2 is a world of difference, nothing will change, and nothing stops Sony from innovating on software using traditional hardware.

Wii U has an innovative control but no 'killer' software for it. Kinect had Adventures, Move had none. We'll need to see what Kinect 2 will get - probably something not for me, even if successful.
