Forza b/c of $$$

Plus PD is co-developing GT6, so it's not like they can spend as much time creating a new IP.

---

But both will be good . Both look Amazing already, and it's funny that Forza is competing with a secondary IP racer by Sony. MS should have launched a PGR5, not a Forza.

Well with the teaser pick on Lucid Games website I was actually expecting a PGR5 reveal but Turn 10 has a pretty constant two year development cycle so I was expecting Forza 5.  Also PD is not involved in the development of Drive Club its made by the people behind MotorStorm, Evolution Studios.

Its too early to call, after E3 we will have a better opinion, but still people will argue "Turn 10 has more experience"

For me it will b DriveClub coz its a new racer and would love to know what it brings new to the table.

And it will be interesting to see what innovation will turn 10 brings to F5.

too early to tell is the correct answer :D

It's too early to tell but If I had to guess I'd say they'll both be quite close with Drive Club maybe edging it out due to the PS4 having more power.

Both should look absolutely delicious though!

Gran Turismo 5 and 6 on 7th generation even look better than Forza 5 screen shots. Gran Turismo 7 when it does arrive will set the benchmark even higher for racing car simulator games.

*Facepalm*

Basically: "Lets look 4+ years into the future where GT can compete graphically"

Sigh

Probably Forza. Turn 10 has much more experience with this franchise.
Drive Club is a new IP from the creators of Motorstorm. No amount of tech specs are enough to make up for the difference in experience.

If i hear the experience excuse again i'm going to snap. People on these teams are made up of the old motorstorm staff, wipeout, PGR and GT. They have more than enough experience to make a game look better and be better than forza. Really won’t be that hard to do.

Yeah, because Forza always failed when it comes to fun, gameplay and graphics and the devs are really not very experienced, it's there 5th forza by now, way too few games to compete with godlike ps4-devs.

Yes, because of the back ground of the drive club people have all made fun good looking games.

To answer the other guy. I've had more fun in PGR, wipe and GT than I ever did with Forza. The only thing I ever liked from Forza was the Paint editor. The game play and driving was boring and painful, IMO. I'll say it again, critically acclaimed means squat. Period. MS has been buying reviews left and right this gen. and Forza to me is 75-80. So to me and many it's on the bottom of the list.

Odd since Forza actually takes more steps to make the simulation fun with fun gameplay modes. Ive heard that said about GT5, which is pure no-frills driving.

Also a fail observation with 0 back-up that MS buys reviews.....since they would have to buy dozens upon dozens to make a difference since metacritic scores take dozens of reviews to make a average. To say that but not imply Sony does the same shows heavy bias.

Seeing the link, Turn 10 has ZERO trouble from a critical standpoint. Evolution makes graphically stunning games, but is a 70-79 developer as of late.

(To any mods.....I am just defending Forza here, that is the core of my stance. Please tell me if I stepped out of line. Thank you)

Forza holds no candle to GT franchise.  And so what about the 70-79 developer, doesnt mean its a bad game? and it sure doesnt imply anything about the new IP.

Of course they buy reviews, it seems like most of them do. I'm sure that includes Sony, it's just they haven't been caught yet (as far as I know)

I'd say Drive Club has a slight edge. Of course, we've seen Drive Club in action, while Forza's vids have all been in Replay Mode, which every racing game ups the car models on. We'll have to wait for both games to have lengthy gameplay vids before making the final call. But, given PS4's more powerful HW, I would say Drive Club is most likely to take it in the end.
