I guess the biggest thing close to a bomshell is that DK is coming early this fall.  That's quick and exciting if you really needed a new DK this soon after the last one, and after NSMBU.

Give me a break. A sequel after three years doesn't warrant a "this soon" remark.

I guess he meant the 3ds version which I agree with him on.

So guys... Pikmin 3 is releasing in August along with the packaged version of Super Luigi, Wind Waker is out in October, Donkey and Mario 3DWORLD in December, Mario Kart for Spring 2014. This is one hell of a good lineup!

Good god, Nintendo. It was painful to watch Geoff and that girl having a laugh at Nintendo after that announcement and pretty much write them off completely.
I liked the Nintendo Direct and the games shown. I had no regrets whatsoever. And then this happens...

No, they are releasing the same games over and over.  That not being original is a fact.  It is like the sun rising, it may be a new day every time but it's the same sun, please don't try and pretent it's a new, fresh original sun coming up each day.

Let me guess, you liked Sony's though? They have the same games too by your logic. Even the new IPs are practically the same based on that reasoning.

Don't try that generalised empty argument.  New IPs are the same?  Worthless waste of time explaining why that is a dumb argument.  Reply, with more nonsense, I won't care, neither will anyone with a brain.

As expected with this reply. A new IP that plays similar to another game (Beyond compared to Heavy Rain) isn't "innovative" in gameplay. I want to play a game, not a movie. I can tell there is no reasoning with you, so good day to you sir.

beyond is nothing like heavy rain gameplay wise

Assassins Creed, Batman, Scribblenaughts, Deus Ex, Just Dance and 2 Sonic games in between as well. Not bad at all.

And on a side note, some of the mini 3DS announcements were delightful.

Yeah, the lineup is starting to take shape now...but bombshells!

I have a feeling that, were it not for the January Direct, we'd be saying this was the best conference EVA! So when you get major news every month, you can't expect Megatons all the time.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

That was it?

I was seriously thinking I watched a pre-E3 Direct like there was last year. Just 40 minutes! No true megabombs too, which is disappointing. Stuff they did show looked good though. Mario Kart 8 stood out the most for me, Donkey Kong looked good too and was unexpected. Overall on par with the XBox conference yesterday, so E3 hasn't been very special until now. Haven't seen the Playstation conference yet.

Yup, Wii Fit Trainer is indeed a playable character. (6:05 to see her in action)

Gotta admit, it's pretty funny. XD

Yet another E3 where Nintendo fails...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
