Yeah man i hope so too,uc3 sold more than 1.3m first week so if TLOU sells only more than a million first week it would be frickin aweosme! 

I may even revise my predictions up if the preorders sky rocket in the coming weeks.  Kinda bad relying on numbers we don't know if are true, but there is nothing else to go on.  And, yeah if a new IP can sell close to what the third game in an established franchise did then that is awesome.

its going to be such a huge week for sure and with animal crossing coming that week, we'll have 2 major 500k openings imo for US :)

I must say I didn't expect such high pre-orders.

300k already, should be on course for a minimum of 750k WW. I didn't expect anywhere near that and given it is a Naughty Dog game, it should be fantastic so should have good word of mouth sales

The one potential issue is that it is releasing in E3 week, that might take away a few sales for people who are more excited about next gen and have already moved on mentally, though that shouldn't be too big

hmm, so same level as the uncharted series then. Not sure since it's coming so close to the end of this cycle.


well uncharted games are more of a 6m + sellers except uc1,i don't know that's just my guess i have to wait for the first week sales then we are all going the have a better insight on how the game will sell.

They will definitely sky rocket in the coming weeks i'm sure of that,but why do you think that the preorder numbers are not correct?

Haha well what can i say it's a Naughty Dog game ! :D That and it's been advertised very good so far VGA's,E3, the walking dead tv spot and so forth...

I never doubted it would be good, but it is quite a hardcore title. Uncharted has lots of explosions, where as this is emotion driven... I guesss it does have zombie like things, people like zombies
