XBox One, 359 less reasons to buy it. Seriously, though I want a bigger one, perhaps cabinet sized with it's own air conditioner and some tape reels.

So no backwards comparability meaning only games that are released for it...
WiiU full backwards compatibility PS4 not so much.

Physical specs, decent but not high end in terms of PC, comparable to the PS4 but better than the WiiU

A TVii like app... Well that has been done already but no complaints about it's inclusion. Why no TVii like app for the PS4 (odd man out here)

Kinect... well if it is significantly better, why not. The first iteration was not all that great.

Memory is fine, except for the 3 GB for the OS, holy bloatware batman. What are they running on this thing?

Used game policy, online registration, must install all games to a 500 GB HD ? WTF Up to this point they were not doing bad, Couple that with the pay to use the internet services you already pay for and I have to give my head a shake. Optical media is dead (almost) so the option to install/download, that far it is a feature... it is the must that I object to. It would be better if they went the WiiU route and kept most storage to USB externals, 500GB will be small by 2014 (I put a 2 TB drive on my WiiU day one... cheaply).

Sorry, but regardless of the exclusives this may have... I am not even considering it, unless we need to replace the coffee table, it is about the right size for one, and with some doilies to make it less ugly....

PS4 maybe we will see in 2014 (depends on the catalogue of games at that point), I think I will get a steam box first.

Glimpses? Sony had on-stage gameplay demos for these games.

The article who ok, but it could have been better. It is pretty obvious that the Xbox One is being geared towards gamers. The system is being geared towards Viacom, Netflix Inc, Google, Disney, Time Warner, EA, Activision, and so on. Almost every decision they have made with this system seems to be aimed at helping another big Corporation line their pockets so that they can line Microsofts pockets. The Xbox One is the console of choice for corporate publishers, media conglomerates, and software giants.

Sure some people complained about the lack of games shown and the focus on TV and apps, but there are much bigger issues here. I wouldn't say we are self entitled just concerned that our past time is in serious trouble.

Now that MS is looking good to have more exclusives in the first year, you change it to :  Quality > quantity

It has always been about quality. I have never touted Sony's quantity as a win. IMO, as least the last few years, Sony has both quality and quantity.

if microsoft fails to show any big gaming news at E3 or what kind of place it has in the gaming industry.. then i have doubts about a strong future for the xbone, gamers dont want a media box, casuals can get a better casual fix from tablets.

from this moment of the understanding i have from the past couple months, i could see nex gen somthing like this:

1. Ps4
2. Wii U
3. Xbone

but that could easily change, lets wait for e3 to see whats up.

You know we are referring to now and not 2 weeks from now?  And you also know anything can happen at E3, right?  So stop making excuses for Microsoft now when most of what they have already presented have given all of us the impression of "TVBox."

The "all-in-one set-top box" part.  Because it won't be.  You can't get rid of your cable box.
