Forums - Nintendo - I love Nintendo being late and outdated on the market

GameStop is probably happy, too.

It's a good point. Nintendo's newest console might be underpowered compared to the other eighth generation consoles and it's definitely going through a game drought, but at least it doesn't embrace these weird anti-consumer measures.

From the start of things, I don't think we've ever experienced such a one sided Sony vs. Microsoft competition. There is just literally no reason to purchase an XboxOne over a PS4 other than if you are a retarded person who loves self infliction.

I'm not a Sony fanboy (Nintendo fan myself,) but wow. The PS4 seems like it could do way more than the XboxOne, except you don't have to pay extra for using used games, you don't need Kinect, you don't need an internet connection, etc.

There are advantages and disadvantages.

So am i. Im sick of beeing nickle & dimed.

Though mind you, sony aint that bad. They are trying to please everyone within reason.

No games at all, in fact!

I only buy one console per generation and usually shift company every generation or two. Nintendo did enough with Wii to bring me back for a Wii U run which I don't regret for a second, still by my usual standards i should start to warm up to a Microsoft console purchase and for a while I was actually considering getting a 360, but the Wii U came out just in time for me to go that route instead.

That said, my enthusiasm for the XBox brand is on a downward trajetory right now. My previous inclination towards getting a 360 has completey vanished since I picked up a Wii U and there is absoultely nothing about the XBox One that I find very intriguing.

As for PlayStation, we are still in the 2 generation minimum ban period I put on that brand after the PS2.

Full retrocompatibility, free transfert of dowloadable content, no games to install on DD, being able to share the game with a friend, being able to sell it if you want.

Please Nintendo, never become as anti consummers as M$ and Sony.

Love Nintendo, but I would not mind them adding the option to Install games, I also think they could use their flash memory onboard and offload ram responsibilities to it with a patch, since its almost mandatory to have an external drive.

I hope they release a Wii U revision some day with more RAM though, I like the instant speed of the XBox One and PS4 seems to tout this as well.

I hate waiting like 30 seconds to just get to a title screen of a game.

you are living under a rock, that is old story, Wii U is running quietly and faster than before.

Once Nintendo starts releasing games, nothing is gonna stop them! I seriously think WiiU will be the winner of the generation!
