From the start of things, I don't think we've ever experienced such a one sided Sony vs. Microsoft competition. There is just literally no reason to purchase an XboxOne over a PS4 other than if you are a retarded person who loves self infliction.

I'm not a Sony fanboy (Nintendo fan myself,) but wow. The PS4 seems like it could do way more than the XboxOne, except you don't have to pay extra for using used games, you don't need Kinect, you don't need an internet connection, etc.

I only buy one console per generation and usually shift company every generation or two. Nintendo did enough with Wii to bring me back for a Wii U run which I don't regret for a second, still by my usual standards i should start to warm up to a Microsoft console purchase and for a while I was actually considering getting a 360, but the Wii U came out just in time for me to go that route instead.

That said, my enthusiasm for the XBox brand is on a downward trajetory right now. My previous inclination towards getting a 360 has completey vanished since I picked up a Wii U and there is absoultely nothing about the XBox One that I find very intriguing.

As for PlayStation, we are still in the 2 generation minimum ban period I put on that brand after the PS2.
