Forums - Microsoft - How would you rate the Microsoft Conference? Everything you wanted?

3/10 at most.

The only impressive stuff was the name. The name Xbox One is phenomenal and pure genious.

The hardare, the physical console. Kinda slick surface but looks too much like a home stereo and I'm afraid many on the internet will make jokes about its cumbersome appearance.

Desperate lack of games and it once again seems they had to resort to the wallet at last minute and buy exclusive DLC from thord party. As usual.

All this interactive and multimedia stuff, I just hate it. I hate it on Playstation and I hate it on Xbox.

It was ok. The biggest flaw was that there were not that many games. It was very entertainment focused. I live in the US and I'm not sure I'd be able to use these features. I don't exactly have a modern set-top box and its actually in a different room.

I came out of the conference being hyped. This would definitely be in my considerations for the holidays.

Microsoft's main plan with the Xone is focusing on casuals. You still haven't answerd my question: Why didn't they show their promised new exclusives at the event? They got 15, so they can keep a couple of them till E3.

Because E3 is meant for games you silly goose. They got all the boring stuff out of the way so you can complain now, eat crow later :)

Again, Forza leapfrogging GT and remedy exclusive are enough new reveals to last a couple weeks.

And making an event revealing a videoGAME console is not meant for games? WOW..

Well, its meant for revealing the console first and foremost.....thinking of a certain other big 3 company that didn't get the memo on that.Again, 2 exclusives, and timed content on the biggest 3rd party IP's in the industry. A nice teaser for a couple weeks.

Sooooooo what? Your gonna spend the next 2 weeks complaining and having a good time trashing the conference.....when you KNOW that MS specifically got the multimedia stuff out of the way now so that you would have ZERO to complain about at E3?

Have a fun 2 weeks, I guess.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

9/10. Few more games, but other than that, all of the right notes were hit. The US will eat it up like candy!

Did you like Quantum Break? It looks your kinda thing :P

They claim to have so many exclusives in the pipeline, I think they could have made it 10 minutes longer and at least teased a couple tbh.

Xbox, boot up my video game console.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Didn't watch/10. Microsoft's conferences are usually just desperately hip barrages of buzzwords, and I can't be bothered with them anymore.

Seems like it has a lot of features a lot of people would be interested in.

Not sure i'm one of those people... but for what it is, it impressed me.

If I had a nice living room and huge TV I'd probably get one.

It's almost hard to judge because it's just so much more then a videogame console.

Quantum Break could be awesome... if it's the kind of game i hope it is.  Though so little was shown... who knows.

Sony didn't talk about TV and other non important stuff for an hour. That makes up for the lack of a console reveal.  Microsoft's event was a dissapointment/boring in a gamers eyes.

And WOW at that timed COD content, I never would have guessed

Oh my GOD! Seece?! What is up?!

Quantum Break is right up my alley. It sealed the deal for Day 1!

Hope you're good too! ;)

It was very interesting, I was totally expecting Alan Wake 2, kinda glad they've gone this way. What was up with the real life footage though? You reckon those are going to be the cutscenes? Very interesting approach if so.

Good:
- Controller looks like it's been greatly improved.
- Finally has fu**ing blu-ray.
- Hardware specs look good.

Bad:
- Too much TV and non-gaming crap. This should not be the focus of a gaming console.
- Stop trying to make Kinect happen.
- Almost no games footage or emphasis.
- Another Call of Duty.
- Halo mini-series...really? Is this something you should be announcing at a console reveal and not at E3 or on a blog?
- Blocks used games.
