Good thread, I agree with most of your points.

I thought it was a solid reveal, considering that they already stated we'd get to see all the games at E3. If I hadn't known that, I'd be pretty upset right now

No BC = No buy frome. This applies to any platform.

I won't expend hundreds of dollars each generation for a company to remove support for my games so quickly.

There is a fee to play 2nd hand games off of the hdd with no disk. You can play them off of the disk for free. It has been reported on several sites already.

-no mention of cpu

-no mention of gpu

-no mention of Kinect2 capabilities

-no mention of backward compatibility

-no mention of ram rumours

Really?

  • They said it was an 8 core cpu.
  • This they didn't mention.
  • They had a nice little segment about Kinect 2 (1080p Camera, Time of Flight tech, etc...)
  • No BC (Mentioned in post-show)
  • 8Gb of Ram
  • How do we ever know if the stuff is actually running on the console at these things?
