MS is a big winner this gen, they haven't lost anything

rrod= haven't lost anything.

strange kind of logik.

they still made the most money this gen though.

Nintendo says hi. :p

I think that in the worst case scenario for PS fans of the franchise, M$ will pay to get nextgen exclusivity in next year FIFA game. But current gen version will still be available for PS3.

I think this could happen , because the most users are in current gen PS3 and then in the 360, so the sales they could get from the nextgen version will be negligible in comparison, so EA is going the easy way, and get the easy money; and because of the fact it is exclusive it can get more fans of the console to buy the game to show support, so even though it would end up selling less, it would be not by much; but they would make a lot more money because of M$ money.

It is a possible scenario at least.

Seeing the generational jump for both CoD and FIFA will be interesting. Like I said in the other thread, I hope they didn't get some exclusivity deal on FIFA

I actually think they will.   M$ has lost this gen because of europe and Japan, so if they get better in Europe they might get better.

No, they didn't really turn an overall profit until very recently. Nintendo is the only one that made any money to speak of, really.

WTF...

My big thing I'd like to see is atmosphere. I have never felt any game gets across the feel of a match properly. Hoping stadiums and supporters with banners and tifo come across this generation.

I just hope for a super realistic C. Ronaldo who makes evey move I want him to make.. And I mean every move.. <3

Introducing the cry-like-a-little-girl button.

also a kiss-tyour-teammate button

FIFA huh? It very looks like some hostile takeover bid. Is this MS's new plan to conquer Europe?

well.i'm not a math genius but.

nintendo have sold the most hardware-by far

they have sold ca 100 mio more discs with the wii than 360

they neither pay much for developing their top sellers(i guess they develop one zelda,2 marios and 1ssbm for the price of one halo, nor are they so stupid to pay 50-100mio for merchandising one single game)

they were the only to sell their console with profit

they have sold periphericals (balance board) with profit and without a 500million marketing campaign(kinect)

Nintendos 1st partys sold far more games than ms 1st parties

nintendo had no rrod and no 1year+ warranty

and ms still made more money????

Exclusivity-deals seem to be important to both Sony and MS but remember that Sony wanted to show a ps4-ad next saturday at Champions-League-final... If Fifa would be exclusive, this wouldn't be the best place for Sony...

Fifa sells a few millions more on the PS3/Sony Platform compared to others...EVERY Year
EA won't miss out on that
Sony is owning Europe and it will stay like that.

What Microsoft is getting is surely some Deal for the Ultimate Team or some Season Pass.
And no one cares for that except for people that make money with Fifa over ebay and other sites.
