Its completely relevant. What part of bundling do you not understand. No Halo game has ever been bundled as massively as GT5. 

GT5 has never been massively bundled.

Anyway Halo and GT have similar bundles... Forza, Uncharted, Resistance and Motorstorm were massively bundled for some period.

I would say so, GT games have good legs.

A PS4 updated re-release has already been rumored for GT6, probably holiday 2014.
With that easy. I's kind of cheating though, since most of the core GT players will double dip.

Standalone ps3 version also stands a chance. The ps3 will continue to sell for a long time, GT6 will be a great title with it and will probably also be bundled with ps3 super slim.

I think the rumored GT6 for PS4 is not GT6... I read what the PD said and seems like they are planning a new game for PS4 "GT7"... can be just me but I think he is talking about a GT version for PS3 and other GT version for PS4... GT6 and GT7... and this PS4 version is not to be launched anything soon... just after all the PS3 DLC and updates.

So what explains the higher sales year 3 than year 2? Clearly the only explanation is that the game was bundled. 

Price cut ($60 to $40 to $20... the Black Friday deal $10) and new editions (XL in US, Academy Edition in EU and Spec II in JP).

I think that two things is bigger than bundles.
