Since I purchased NSMBU on eshop, I will probably go with the DLC.

I need to keep paying attention though. Iwata mentioned it was limited in the ND (I think), so it could be gone quite quickly. This is an item that's going to be worth something. Not only that, the box looks sweet too! And I'm a sucker for good box-art. If I'd had more money to spare (gaming-budget for 2013 is pretty much locked up now) I'd get the retail version, keep it sealed, and download the DLC.

On second thought, I might still do that, but that means I won't get the chance to play it for a year or so...
