The fact that you still think the hangover point is still an argument says volumes. Have you ever taken a logic course? If so you should realize it's a test and since everyone who sees it says its absurd then it worked.

Oh, and I use English everyday. First language. Are you giving me thousands to write well? No. Am I working for you? no. I don't give no shits.

I've clearly stated before what I've been studying for the past couple of years and the impact it has had upon my development of logic and critical thinking. And, yes, I have taken a course that was dedicated to classical deductive reasoning and logical fallacies. What the hell is your point? And before you tell me that the point is the bolded sentence, know that the sentence makes absolutely no sense. Are you still wondering how you're not concise?

What volumes does the fact that I mentioned the hangover "point" say? That you failed at rebutting Curl's point with a very mocking-sounding attempt at a reductio ad absurdum? That was the intended effect. Any other "volumes it speaks to you" are just there to comfort you.

Umm... I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think you have the writing ability worth thousands. Once again, it really shouldn't be difficult to construct grammatically correct sentences. Especially when it comes to a person's first language. Do you seriously expect people to pay you thousands before you put in the effort required (the fact that there's effort required is, once again, surprising, to say the least) to communicate efficiently?

You really need to drop your derogatory tone.

Seriously dude? It was obviously a metaphor. It should've been clear, because, if nothing else, I asserted that it can't be called killing, then immediately afterwards talked about a guy comitting murder.

Edit: your position seems very inconsistent. You claim in another post that you're fine with the woman having the final say in whether the fetus gets an eventual birth or not. Why don't you want to charger her with murder if a fetus really is a human?

Why not charge her with murder? Because I feel taking away abortion would lead to other problems. Like women looking for more drastic methods to kill their unborn child.

So if people want to have abortions, whatever. I don't want to stop them. But don't tell me a fetus isn't a person so you can sleep better at night.

So? If the fetus is a child, then it's murder, regardless of the method used to abort. So, if the fetus is a child, then women should be charged with murder for abortion too.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying a fetus is not a person to get better shut-eye at night; trust me, I have no trouble falling asleep in the worst of times. I truly believe that a fetus is not a person. How do you justify calling a fetus a person? A fetus is a potential person. So is a sperm cell, so is an egg. Is it then also murder for men to masturbate, or for women to go through a menstrual cycle without conceiving?

And my "argument" is weak... /rolls eyes

That was not an argument. Those were emphasized versions of the question, "Is not allowing a potential person to become a person murder?" I was trying to get Puggsly's response to that.

You're just repeating yourself. I've made it clear I don't feel there is a perfect solution.

When that sperm and egg come together and create something like this...

Well I can't help but consider it a person. It doesn't have the potential to become a person. It just is.

Not forged, I swear! Looks like I beat you by exactly 100,000. Damn.

Lol. I've had my fun. Why do you think that's relevant? You really need to get off your high horse. If the topic interests you, contribute to it; this includes posing and defending your position. It does not include throwing immature insults at people's abilites to think critically. Which, to reiterate, holds no weight coming from someone who's had your debating performance in this thread.

So, to summarize, if you're interested in the issue at hand, then drop the derogatory tone, tie that high horse at the entrance, and feel free to rejoin the conversation. If you're not interested, then just leave and don't look back.

No, he probably didn't decide to have a baby. BUT he did make the decision to take part in an activity which had a high risk of him being a parent. He took a risk, so he should be prepared to accept the consequences of this risk.

Just because society is fucked up and people treat sex like a game doesn't mean it isn't serious and people shouldn't have to pay the consequences. That's a weak argument.

This isn't the stone age, sex and procreation are no longer one and the same. There's nothing "fucked up" about having sex for fun.

Sure, you can treat sex like a fun little game if you want, by its fucked up if you don't take responsibility when the real and serious consequences result. Just because you partake in an activity for fun, doesn't mean you shouldn't take responsibility for the consequences of that activity

What's fucked up is parenthood being forced on someone.

You can always give your child to an adoption system. What's REALLY fucked up is denying someone's chance to live a human life because you're an irresponsible cowardly fucktard (regardless of gender)

Her body, her deciscion.

if he doesn't want a child, he should have taken better care where he spurts his load.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You're "denying someone's chance to live a human life" every time you masturbate, have sex using protection, or have a wet dream. I'm not going to get into this, but the idea that a clump of cells the size of this full stop . is a human being is ridiculous.

Are you seriously comparing a sperm cell with the developing human being inside a womb??? That's sad. Sperm on it's own can never become human. They aren't meant to. Im not denying them anything, even when you ejaculate inside a woman, thousands of them die, they were meant to. That's why we have millions of them.

Sperm cell inside a womb is a human being about to happen. Do i seriously have to explain this to you ? Or are you just arguing semantics for the sake of it?
