Forums - Nintendo Discussion - EA Sports Engineer: Wii U is crap, less powerful than 360. No money for 3rd parties.

Except Most Wanted U is only ever so slightly better looking on the Wii-U.

Like some multiplats look ever so slightly better on the Xbox 360 vs PS3. It's well known the PS3 produces the best graphical exclusives. The "Most Wanted situation" isn't substantial proof of anything, just generally that it's in the same ball park area of power as an Xbox 360 or PS3. You show a game with substantially improved textures, particle effects, resolution and physics effects Vs the PS3/Xbox 360 version then people start becoming believers.

If that doesn't make you believe, then I don't know what will, but if you want to have more proof, then we just have to play the waiting game and see if (and that's a big IF) other developers wants to do the grunt work... But I gotta say, if Criterion can do that with a flip of a switch, imagine what they could've done if they actually did the game really from the ground-up? But that is also still up for debate... >.>

Doesn't it take time to squeeze the full potential out of a new hardware ? First year games can't be the results on which we can evaluate the maximum power of a console, especially when it comes to ports.

with how much the game sold don't get your hopes up for third parties to do that

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Given that EA sent it out to die like everything else, sales are no excuse.

By making it the superior version??

What about FIFA, Madden, Need for Speed, The Sims, Tiger Woods? Are they shooters?

With Ubisoft you have only Rayman and then Assassin's Creed (HARDCORE AWESOME KILL) and Watch_Dogs (HARDCORE AWESOME HEADSHOT WITH HACKING)

FIFA and Madden arent family friendly games. They are hardcore. The sims im pretty sure would sell well on a nintendo platform.

But DieAppleDie told me they were casual o.O

I'm not reponsible for what he says, but you just have to think about the target of such games. Its Males that enjoy watching or playing sports. I dont see the women or the whole family playing it. Do you? It strikes me as something you play alone or with friends.

Maybe theres some confusion here as casual and family friendly arent the same thing. I wanted to say they werent family friendly. I guess you can classify them as casual in wich casual gamers get them. Its not a family friendly game though. I said they were hardcore as opposed to that but its not accurate.

Reason why I put ... (and that's a big IF)...

Hold on Mr Khan, I will have to give this to EA, they would've cancel it out right if they wanted to... It may smell in sales, but atleast it's out to the mass 4 or 5 million of them atleast. But yeah, the game also has it fare share of freezing problems... -_-'

aren't

All i have to say is that this bad exposure is not a good thing. Either agree with EA or Nintendo, it not getting any games is not a positive.

EA maybe butt hurt but it also seems like the Nintendo fans are too.

Hard to say. The game appears to be offered at a reduced price as a digital download.

Yes, it's very much a social game. When I think of "family" I think of "friends" as well

Family and friends arent the same thing. ^^ Cheers to you if they are though.
