Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo Gamers: Do you even care that we are not getting EA games in the foreseeable future?

I feel like I shouldn't care, but if I'm being honest, I do. I like mass effect, i like dead space and I like dragon age. After playing the recent sequels to three the mentioned games, I can't say I care much for the franchises anymore. Which is why I say I feel like I shouldn't care. The quality of those games went dramatically down. Lately all they have improved is graphics while sacrificing game play.

But, I do care enough to not want to buy another EA game just because they dropped Nintendo support. I will not purchase another EA title until I see support for Nintendo.

So yes, it does matter to me, but my discontent is not aimed at Nintendo at all. No EA support would never affect my decision on buying another Nintendo console, but definitely affects my gaming purchases and who I choose to support.

I'm just kinda curious since everyone seems so upset at EA ... why is Konami not given a ton of grief for not Metal Gear Rising or Metal Gear Solid V on Wii U?

Why is Rockstar not given a lot of grief for no GTAV on Wii U? What about no Bio Shock Infinite on Wii U?

Where's Tomb Raider or Final Fantasy or anything else from Square-Enix?

Because they didn't lie about giving "unprecedented" support beforehand. Hyping and failing to deliver is far worse than not delivering at all.

MGS will be on the Wii U, and a FF game will be on the Wii U.

Annoucement? Link? Coming anytime before the year 2020?

Every third party says this about every platform they support that they're planning on doing some exciting things with the system, etc. etc. etc. If you're going to hold EA liable for that, you might as well string up every third party for lying through their rear end about supporting the Wii with all types of buzzwords like "unique", "ground breaking", "innovative", that they used to describe what eventually became crap shovelware projects before bailing on that platform entirely (why hello thar Soul Calibur Legends and Resident Evil light gun games that no one asked for and crappy Star Wars games).

I think he's referring to that Miiverse hack that showed future releases in the database. It contained a lot of entries for games that were eventually unveiled or released, and Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy were included on the list.

The fact that Star Wars is unlikely might not be on WiiU annoys me greatly

For which system? Those entries could easily be referencing 3DS software.

I know, I wasn't backing up his claims, just saying where I think he might have gotten the idea.
