I think Sony have done really well this generation. The 1st party efforts have been for the large part, good. There are the obvious fuckups, but everyone has them.

Where I think SCE did the best this generation was with new IP. Uncharted, inFamous, LittleBigPlanet to name a few. Uncharted has taken over God of War as Sonys 2nd biggest franchise, and they now have a bunch of B Tier and C Tier games to plug holes in dry months. Naughty Dog is now one of the highest rated developers on the market and the creativity of Media Molecule is 2nd to none.

Where SCE have been poor, for me, has been on the handheld side of things. While some efforts on PS3 are arguably the best in the industry, the efforts on PSP were relatively poor. They seem to have changed that more recently with PSV, but for the most part Sony just didnt seem to care.

Oh, and SCEJ need to push games out faster. -cough- The Last Guardian -cough-

Could do better, but still good.

Movies.

Besides Nintendo, they're my favorite developers/publisher.

I love the variety they offer.

Technically SCE is just a publishing company Naught Dog, Sucker Punch, Guerrilla Games, Media Molecule, Quantic Dreams, Polyphony etc.... are the ones making the games not SCE. So I guess I could say they have a good eye for picking up good developers.

No pizza ordering app from the XMB really pisses me off.

They are pretty good with amazing studios under them and are always investing in new IPs and smaller games. I think sometimes they spread themselves to thin by trying to do multiple projects at the same time leaving something to be desired but all in all they are my favorite because they take risks and aren't afraid to fail.

I think, "Flower." And my heart bursts with joy.

And then I think, "There are six God of War games." And my heart shrivels like a prune.

I like them. They have a very diverse library of games. Some of there main franchises I don't care for like god of war, but others I just love. They also have abnormal games like heavy rain and beyond two souls too. So I would give them. I also like there hardware.

My favorite, hands down. Nintendo's offerings are hit or miss for me and I find they're slow learners in important areas (but I still like their stuff), and while MSFT has some good offerings, I have no desire to purchase an Xbox since their brands don't appeal to me. I can game exclusively on Sony systems without feeling as if I am missing something. As long as they keep bringing the goods I'll continue to buy their hardware and support the software they dispense.
