fillet said: ASDA are a supermarket basically with an online electronics/extra setup, hardly a big player for the stuff excluding groceries. This is likely just bad management and stock issues. This all really came about from HMV dropping the price, then ASDA followed shortly by Amazon/Base. People can read into it what they like but there's no conclusive evidence to show that the Wii-U has been permanently de-listed. Any comment is just conjecture and guesswork - at best! Nobody knows anything and there's not enough to info to make an intelligent argument either way, since status quo is that it hasn't been de-listed, it would be sensible to assume that is the truth for now, surely. Unless someone knows better? |
Nevertheless they still had the leading price for the Wii U in the UK for a period of time. Considering the ease of ordering something online nowadays, if I order anything I will give the supermarkets a quick look at.
Well yes it is guesswork, but not having the Wii U in a bundle category or even a dedicated Wii U console category is rather odd to say the least - usually a site would, and should, have a "notify when back in stock" button. Really, there is nothing at all normal about what is going on with regard to the Wii U console listing on the site, hence the speculation. Considering the Wii U's in my local Sainsbury's are literally gathering dust, I would say that demand seems to be rather limited.
