It doesn't ruin so far it since it has only appeared during the intro and locations. Though it is odd since it's the first thing you see... I spent 3 restarts trying to unselect the subtitles. Plus there is no Spanish subtitle option either.

Either way, they should have gone with the NTSC version instead.

No problems with the color on my tv.  As for lcd/led, your TV is LCD with LED lighting same as the Game Pad.

The best way to play Metroid (like all VC games), pro controller w/gamepad used as the display.

Played it for an hour now. I don't remember a single thing about this game though, it'll be like a totally new experience! I'm sure my aunt had this game, I was pretty sure I played it back in the day too. But now I'm not so sure anymore, maybe when I get further in I'll recognize stuff.

I was also surprised by the German subtitles in the intro cinematic by the way .

Also if you own Super Mario World on Wii U. You get 50% off ($2.50) on Super Mario Bros 2. Not the most loved game but maybe someone would be interested.

What a brilliant game this was/is, loving the exploration its fantastic, playing on the gamepad not used the tv so far, 30p well spent :)
