Instead, Gran Turismo would be missing on PS4 for the next 3-5 Years. It wont have the biggest system seller Sony has for 3 to 5 Years. Thats a huge drawback. PS3 suffered from not having a main GT game, PS4 will potentially suffer too.

Even I knew the GT6 is for PS3 and to be out this year... what we want is the new features from it.

Do people actually follow games releases here?

PS1: GT1 and 2
PS2: GT3 and 4
PS3: GT5 and 6

This is nothing new, just yet another reason for the entitled to moan

The best selling GT game is GT3. It released on PS2 1 Year after JP launch, ~7(?) Months after NA/EU launch.

You dont need to launch on a big userbase to sell well.

Ya I don't get that either. I thought it would a cross gen game. I guess the ps4 does have driveclub(launch title?).


DriveClub isn't releasing at launch. It will probably release in early 2014

GT3 is the best selling entry because.....wait for it........mass bundling.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

PS2 was also $299

 

Seems like Polyphony wont release GT until the console is atleast $299

 

This is another reason why PS4 should be launched at $399 so they can be only a price cut away from $299

GT6 would still sell really well on the PS4. In the long run it'd be more beneficial to release it on the PS4 than PS3.

No it won't, GT6 on PS3 will generate more profit for Sony because it will sell A LOT more copies FULL-PRICE first week/months.

GT6 on PS4 won't make the same profits for Sony because "in the long run" the game will go down in price ($20-25) once the PS4 install base starts growing.
