well PC its like that game, the one who pay the most will theoricly be the Best or the better. It looking more like a figth against somebody in wheelchair.
Console in the other hand, its a basketball game with only wheelchair people.
PC Its Kind of a pay to win system.

People have short sighted interpretations of what "next gen" means. There's chronological next gen, which the Wii-U obviously is for example, then there's graphical next gen which the Wii-U certainly isn't but of course it's only talking in terms of "consoles that plug into a power socket" That's it, current top end graphics cards easily make the PS4/Nextbox look bad. Remember gaming in the 90s? Nobody made a fuss because there were already arcade boards out more powerful than the Saturn/PS1 before they even released, (by about 3-4 years even!!!). Sega Model 1 for example came out in 1994, that was a tiny bit more powerful than a Saturn, but basically the same specs. Saturn wasn't out till what 96-97? Sega Model 3 was already out by the time the Saturn was released which was a multitude times more powerful.

This... All of it.
The reality is PC will always be ahead of any console in terms of specs but how much time developers need in order to develop games that look a generation ahead compare to next gen console? that's the question. We won't know the real potential of the next gen until their second o third year on the market.
I really don't get the extended discussions on the specs of the consoles and PCs...Gens...
Isn't it all about games that we care and love to play ?
Of course you will always get substantially better gaming experience with PCs because it's so easy for anyone to update its hardware unlike dedicated consoles but is it really important to have the latest and greatest specs ?
For me it's all about games and what they can deliver. I am happy with my PS3. It will still be relevant even in the next 2-3 years because the games are still gonna come out for it and I will still be satisfied with what it can deliver even at the cost of less impressive graphs and performance compared to upcoming PS4 , next XBOX, and current PCs.
And I don't think developers will maximize the hardware potential of upcoming next gen consoles anytime soon so there won't be a major reason for lots of people like me to buy a next gen console anytime soon at launch because the real difference between the current and next gen consoles won't be that significant in the next couple of years... Remember the games that came out in first couple of years of current gen consoles ?
I will patiently wait to buy a next gen console until the games that I want to play REALLY need the next gen hardware.
High-end PCs are ahead, yes. But not a whole gen ahead, because even if it's technically possible, there's no game to take advantage of such monster HW.

Yes, but those graphic cards that are better than the consoles cost like a £1000 each. Very few people use them and no games take advantage of the power

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030
the first and last short lived technological lead was in 1996 with n64 since then no.
It is like every other generation... PC > console in specs.
