No one said it would be an FPS. Remember, Metroid Prime also is first-person. Which makes me think the game by Retro is Metroid Prime 4. The ending of Mentroid Prime 3 already hinted at a successor.

I'd love another Metroid Prime game, although there are rumours that their next game is going to be Ravenblade which would also be pretty cool.

Two things we can be certain about, whatever the game is: 1) It's going to look gorgeous and 2) It's going to have top-notch level design.

I can't wait!!!

I doubt Nintendo will let Retro work on an original title.

It's going to be either Star Fox or getting put back on Metroid.

Sick of RE remakes lol. New one already haha.

Starfox rumor, not a total fan. I would much rather a cross between traditional fly and starfox adventures, But longer and deeper story. Flying on its own is boring, I think the brake up with foot mission would be great.

Nah not quite. Assualt was almost a plain shooter. I liked the level design of adventures and the freedom it offered.

If Capcom are working on a remake of the first Resident Evil game or Resident Evil 2 I think I'm likely to explode with happiness. Particularly if they remake the second game, it's the best of the series by far imo.

If they do release a remake I'm hoping the voice acting quality is going to go downhill. Since the voice acting in this franchise has improved over the years the quality of the games has gone in the opposite direction. Pretty weird!
