The Vita is going to be capable of playing every main Jak and Daxter game and every Persona game therefore it's the greatest console ever created. End of story.

As I hardcore gamer, I don't embrace Vita for the same reason I don't embrace the 3DS; I simply don't like portable gaming.

I'll embrace the VITA when I can play it on my TV like my PSP. If it can't do that, I can't be bothered to invest any of my time and money in it.

And Final Fantasy 1-10.

I just don't see the value of it. Even if you're on the go, you can easily play games on a laptop at an airport or hotel. You really only need a PSP Vita if you have no access to an outlet and you're not at table. And since I don't live in Japan, I don't spend those really long commutes on a train (and even then I could just use a laptop).

Handhelds make the most sense for kids. They're at the age that they don't have a smartphone yet probably. Their gaming device will be their exclusive computer that they own. They also tend to have lots of free time away from home.

The memory cards are a major issue, but the other one is that people would just buy a home console for that price, since a console has way more functionality.

What do you mean by functionality?

My PS Vita is a far better tool than my PS3 or 360 is.

In terms of total programs, apps, and functions. Not to mention games quality, as games like Resistance, and COD for Vita are nowehere near console levels. PS Vitas only real advantage is portability, but that selling point has proven to not be a determining factor.

I'd still say the Vita has more apps and functions, minus a few TV on demands apps. It's far more user friendly too.
