The reason I'm excited for the game is because it returns to that area and all the characters I liked and doesn't touch most of the rubbish ALO stuff.

And that's why it's nice seeing it get so many points these last few days! Though, I fear the points conversion is going to be pretty harsh for it.

Yeah, we should probs treat it like a PSP game

Also from what Ive heard from random commenters on boards the next season should be better than ALO if we believe the books =P

SAO will do less than 90k FW, probably between 80-90k FW.

I think that's lowballing the conversion slightly.  Best previous-game comparison I can come up with is this:

Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Battle Pentagram 19/12/13 38 25,682 1: 676

Action game based on an anime made by Namco-Bandai which had a game release a year before the Vita version on PSP.

If points conversion is the same, then SAO should easily crack more than 90k FW.

In fact, SAO would have to have one of the lowest points conversion of all (beaten only by 2 visual novels from 5pb) to have less than a 90k FW, and that's assuming it gets 0 points in the next 4 days. Which is still possible, I guess.

Well to be honest I was taking those LTD projections in account. I'm also guessing that those limited editons takes up like 15-20k of those FW sales. I think it could sell something along the lines of Miku 2 FW. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic here.

According to Japanese blogs, Hino said to Famitsu they have already manufactured 1 million copies of Youkai Watch.

I think YW will reach 1M before YW2 release. Game is not slowing down, anime is SUPER popular (sometimes it even manages to beat Pokemon X/Y by TV ratings: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-04-03/japan-animation-tv-ranking/march-17-23 ). I agree that Yokai Watch will eventually surpass 1 Million (most likely before 2's release), but wouldn't that hurt the visual (physical) sales of Yokai Watch? We wouldn't be able to see if someone has downloaded it.
