No its not, like Bravely Default (For the Sequel) it doesn't need to sell anywhere near as much to be successful compared to the original. If it sells 40k-50k FW its far from a flop. 

Also since you were concerned with PS4 numbers, Famitsu second week has them about 60k

I dont remember the first game doing well on COMG either, although it did have multiple SKUs. But as Tbone said, it dosent need to sell the same numbers as the first as its mearly an expansion of the first game while we wait for SS2. Also it has a crazy 1000 Yen upgrade plan for owners of the first game who have PS+, 2300 Yen for those without PS+

As much as i love manga/anime (Goooo One Piece + Hunter x Hunter +Attack on Titan), the japanese are waaaaaayyyyyyy too close to that stuff! *Im being unspecific but i hope people understand wat i mean!

There's the fact Project Diva is an extremely well made, fun to play series... You don't need to be a Vocaloid fan to enjoy it.

Great music, great gameplay, high production values for the contents. I think its the best rhythm game series out there.
