On SSD, well on the store there's a promotion were you can Upgrade your SS to Delta for less money than buying a new one... 2980 Yens for regular and 1000 yens for PLUS users... I think this could be a reason. I think it was @kresnik who posted that here or on the PSVita thread...

May be because Japanese aren'tso cheeky about expansions on games like westerns... is part of their industry, a lot of games get expansions including the old game with new features... they include merchandising material to appeal old and new customers... on PC used to be like that sometime ago.. but now is annual release of games... plus some DLC. Japan is just SO different.

Historically, there are 2 factors.
1. COMG is more popular with Sony fans.
2. Nintendo gamers are not as prone to pre-ordering as are Sony fans.

Yea, but I've never seen Nintendo at such a deficit. Only 3 games on the list, last year 3DS was outnumbering Vita by quite a bit. I remember people were even joking about not seeing another Vita game again after God Eater 2.
Biggest Issue IMO is the inability to pre-order Nintendo games over 3 months in advance. I can pre-order Bayonetta 2 (probably), why can't the Japanese?
