The Question is if FF7R will have a trajectory like FF XIII (Spike on announcement, and then when the preorders officially opened it went pokemon in the charts) or FF XV (Started faster but after that had a mostly flat curve with just a small incline to the end and most preorders done over 100 days before release)? If it's like FF XIII it's all good, if it's like XV, then no need to panic just yet, but if it doesn't go up soon, then it's not very good.

FE chose to go with an otome (aimed at women) game character design. Naturally that will cause some otaku who were pulled in by Fates' artwork to be repelled. The question is if enough new people (mainly women) will get pulled in to offset the loss of the otaku.

Awakening and Fates were also on 3DS when it was at its peak or just after its peak so there was a bigger audience waiting for more games to release on the platform.

Like I Said. It will be the handheld games that we will see a decline on the Switch in terms of Japanese Sales. That includes Pokemon, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing. A cheaper Switch can change that but not enough to reach it.
