Bigger week than the last one, thanks to Ace Combats solid performance. 10:10 platform split currently between PS4 and Switch.

The PS4 has the charts on lock.
Also, does this mean that KH3 in Japan is PS4 only? I am also interested to see what happens to hardware in Japan. This should be enough to boost PS4 over the Switch for at least a week or 2. I have predicted an October overtake of the Switch if all continues as planned. This includes the incoming PS4 price drop once 100 million is achieved. I do expect this to come after the Switch takes over and it could lead to a few weeks of back and forward before the Switch can contain it once again.

What do you mean by an October overtake?

In pretty KH3 is exclusive to PS4 in Japan and Switch is passing PS4 way before October in Japan.

I mean when Switch sales, in Japan, will pass PS4 sales in Japan.  I am also predicting that the PS4 price cut will come after that (as I am predicting a late October or November price drop for PS4) and I think this cut may boost sales in Japan for some time after that until eventually the Switch reclaims number one.

So in short:

PS4 reaches 100 million by October

Switch also outsells PS4 LTD by October in Japan

PS4 gets official early November worldwide which may cause the PS4 and Switch to trade spots in for a few weeks in Japan.

Switch eventually reclaims number one in Japan by end of year 2019 or early 2020.

I don't know what to expect from a PS4 price cut in Japan though...

October is a really long ways away. The switch is already close to the ps4 total. No later than e3 is when the Switch should pass the ps4
