The HYDE effect is starting to kick in.

Tales of Vesperia Switch version appears in the chart. KH3 has been getting points consistently these last few days, let's hope it continues that way.

I know Switch games tend to sell at a higher rate than COMG seems to predict but there really doesn't seem to be much interest in NSMBUD in Japan. I hope Nintendo isn't planning on just that game carrying Switch momentum through Q4. Looks like the Wii u version is gonna destroy it in FW sales!

I wouldn't say that. Interest in Switch games can come in a very, very short time. DKTF and Super Mario Party were both very low on the COMG chart at this point and both put up very solid FW numbers.

I agree but the gap looks like it will be so huge that even a massively inflated ratio won't be enough.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

It'll be a close fight between PS4 and NSW on DQB2.. Nice to see for a change.

Also curious to see Tales CE for PS4 and the regular for NSW.

Another day without any point for NSMBUDX *sigh* Another day to confirm my suspicion about it's cursed fate.

It's for the best, IMHO. Poor reception will hopefully get Nintendo to get off their ass and design a whole new style of 2D Mario. It's sorely needed at this point, as far as I'm concerned.

FW sales of DQB2 will be interesting to see if PS4 or Switch did better and by how much

That's too bad. From what I heard, despite the rather samey graphics and design we've seen throughout the NSMB series, its a really well-designed and well-executed game. The issue it had, at the time, was that's release coincided with NSMB2 in 2012, which didn't help matters as it set an environment in which there was NSMB fatigue. Heck, the last game that released prior to those two was NSMBWii in 2009, which sold like crazy at the time.

While I get having a completely new style would be nice, it would kinda suck if NSMBUDX becomes a dud. However, I don't know if we could assume if it's going to be a dud so far at this point. 2D Mario games have great legs so I wouldn't count out anything yet.

NSMBUDX4NS&NFDFTDMCSWNFM is probably going to be one of those games that has an uneventful first week yet finds its way on the Media Create chart every week until you look at it one day and it's at 2m sales in Japan.
