So solid 2nd place just like in the preorders.

Splatoon number was surprisingly high but opened closer to Odyssey despite massive point differences.

Is that good for Pokemon? I think this is probably the highest budget pokemon game to date, if I'm going off the graphics. Could be wrong though.

Especially in Japan, I think it's in line with expectations. I don't think the nostalgia effect will be strong in Japan like it will be in the West, and so this game was always going to sell much less than mainline series.

I'm still going with 400-500k FW which is still a huge first week for any game. Smash though is looking at hitting a million FW
