Octopath Traveler has already left the top 20. Minecraft the strongest title on the Switch. Microsoft makes definitely more money in Japan with Minecraft than with the XB1.

Smash is slaying but Pokémon is not doing that well, maybe it's because the kind of demographic that the game is aimed to doesn't pre-order but still...I guess the game is scaring away the enthusiasts.

I doubt that Pokemon Let's Go ever will pass Smash on the combined pre order charts.

Pokémon Let’s Go should flop. It’s what she deserves.

Hopefully the gp will see through Gamefreaks devious ways.

CoD reigns supreme! What a glorious day. Can it lead all titles tomorrow? What do you guys think? :)

Smash is back to sucking. It'll pass Smash 4 Wii U, and every Switch title except Splatoon, but I'm beginning to doubt it will break any records. I'm a bit surprised to see another 3DS game on here. I guess it would be weird if PQ2 didn't chart at all, but still. I wonder if Vita has any more games that will chart? Cart printing isn't discontinued in Japan yet if I recall.

I don't see Pokemon Let's Go passing Smash, but I don't really get why people want it to flop. Maybe its just me, but I think it's a good opportunity to bring in not only children, but adults who once played Pokemon (whether it be Gen I or II) but stopped for one reason or another. Pokemon Go has shown that there are fans who want to get involved in the series. Why have mainline games from recent generations not been able to reach the 20 million mark despite having big install bases (outside of almost having annual installments)? Maybe this can help add in an audience that previous generations have not been able to do. Whether it will work or not, time will tell. Still, I am pretty excited to try these games out as a long-time Pokemon fan.
