I was just going off of memory. It released in 2008, but it was super early in 2008.

Can't really say right now, for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon it opened way closer to release at only 56 days, while Pokemon Let's Go is at 121 days from release. Until dates the line up it's got plenty of time to build up points.

Idk about the others though, but apart from ORAS they're entirely new generation mainline entry's that would be better compared to the 2019 games anyways.

True that. But Lets Go is still more similar to a normal Pokemon generation than to other spin-offs, so they are the only titles we can compare it to. I mean I never expected Lets Go to be super big in Japan anyways but I am still a little bit underwhelmed by its performance so far. I mean, I know we are still far away from its release and it might be too early to judge

Well when you said exact number I thought you meant "They've pre-ordered exactly 99 units of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate".

Exactly 99 people have pre-ordered Smash Bros from COMG which is a retail chain of a dozen or so stores.

You can't compare Pokemon Let's Go COMG numbers with numbers going back to X and Y - COMG has closed a lot of stores since then, and the COMG ratio seems to be lower than ever for games on Nintendo systems (see Octopath Traveller as an example). I believe Let's Go will outsell Pokemon Sun and Moon.
