Interested in seeing how Captain Toad performs, the original release never entered the COMG charts but it released in mid-November when the lowest game on the chart was in the mid 20s.

Captain Toad debuted just under 30k and was ~130k in 1.5 months.

I have a feeling Captain Toad will have worse legs on Switch in Japan, at least in this short ammount of time, there's plenty of other releases and many other Switch titles are still selling, DK is slowing down despite being one of the latest releases, you can only have so many Switch exclusives over 5k every week...

Wow. Octopath finally getting some momentum. If it doesn't really pick up the pace soon though, it will never pass either of the Bravely titles.

I doubt that it will, but I also think the ratio for switch titles is much higher than non-switch titles on COMG.
