MHW is taking good use of its beta. They're going to do another without the PS+ requirement so I can only imagine that'll be pretty healthier through rest of year.

You would think nintendo is non existent in japan with that pre order chart. That said i think nintendo now will only announce (well sort of) all of there games in the beginning of the year. Next year we can see these charts again unless a big third party game is announced (next dec)

yea, these might be a few of the factors that lead to this: - the PS4 getting tons and tons of smaller games - the Switch being a total surprise mega hit to jpn 3rd parties and hence them not really having support rdy - the Switch's success turning attention away from 3DS games, especially smaller ones - Nintendo pushing out lots of titles in the first 9 month after launch and understandably running a bit dry for now |
I think it is also that Nintedo has a much shorter turn around on their game announcements and releases ever since the Switch was announced.
They got everything big for this year out of the way with XC2 and only just announced Bayonetta. By the time the january direct rolls around things will look diffrent.
Congrats to Sony but it is so weird when you consider Switch's sucess lol
It's honestly pretty sad that not a single game on nintendo consoles can break 9 preorders. And if the chart becomes all PS4 then it is pretty sad that not a single non PS4 game could break 9 preorders.
Im so glad a certain frog is banned right now lol

"Switch has no games" - I guess this true at Comg xD
Pocky Lover Boy!

With MHW preorders getting some serious boast probably due to beta, i feel MHW is going to have a very good first week.

I think these pre order charts show quite well who is having the major support of third party developers.
I guess the main reason for this blue wave is Nintendos dicision to concetrate their effort on current games that released during the holiday season and not to distract the market with games that will come out in the next months.
