There is no world where Dragon Quest XI is outsold by FF15. I don't see how the PS4 version opens under a 1 million. 3DS version will likely beat it FW, but the advantage it has is in the larger userbase that will provide better legs.

Edit: I see a lot of people are pretty pessimistic on it. I'll be quite surprised if it can't surpass 1m.

As I said, it is only a rough guess and not my true prediction. With COMG and other factors coming up I will adjust. I also forgot to mention that this is FW physical. LTD PS4 would improve with legs and digital likely.

The way I see it, is that DQ Is guaranteed ~2m FW. It just depends on the split.

God damn, that was an excellent day for DQ.Nintendo really needs to get the Switch version out as soon as possible.

Tomorrow is also going to be very interesting, since Splatoon may appear.
