So, there're almost 400k still on shelves.
The worst thing is that first 3 days sell-through was reported to be ~60% (640k sales). That means that on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, FFXV only managed to sell extra 50k units. That's terrible, and second week drop might be huge.

Please lol that's 37% off MSRP. Nothing sells at MSRP. Everything start selling at like 20% off MSRP.
But yeah shipping over 1m units is wth.

37% is not 20%. It's almost the double of that. This is the game second week, and we're already seeing discounts...

No you don't understand. Every game starts at 20% off MSRP. It's a simple strategy to make it look like a better deal.
For example Pokémon Sun/Moon is 20% off on Amazon. And so is Super Mario Maker. And so are every game available for pre-order. That's their regular price.
So FFXV is seeing an additional 17% off which isn't yet a big or even moderate discount. It's pretty normal.
It's in the next few weeks that it might drop much more but don't let retail tactics fool you lol

So pretty normal by today's standards. Titanfall, cod, watch dogs 2, tomb raider to name a few all massively discounted after 1/2 weeks.

Are you talking amazon? Boutros is right games are already under msrp, but that said ffxv (in just japan) is doing horrible outside its first 3 days.
We got 60% sell thru first 3 days with about 5% sold more for 3 days. That 380k on store shelves arent going to sell out anytime soon if it even does. Also FF shouldnt be compared to those franchises imo.
Discounts this early arent a good sign, though i get japan be cutting prices much much faster than other regions lol
If I recall correctly that 60% is a rounded number so perhaps it was at 55%?!
I will take every percent I can lol

Actual yeah could be true. Then it means the last 3days sold somewhere between 30k-100k. (Since 60% can be between 55%-64% which i highly doubt was over 60% by Thursday lol)
Interesting to still see 3 vita games in the charts
