If this numbers is correct then the PS4 hardware is really a disappointment.

Less than 700k for Final Fantasy XV is really disappointing and kind of tragic tbqh...hopefully it at least does more than XIII-2.

It's a big flop for FF15 with a big marketing.

It didn't really have too big of a marketing campaign in Japan though. It seems this FF was more west-focused, though I don't think it'll pay off for Squeenix.

After the damage that was doen with the 13 series, its surprising for me that it has a chance of opening above 500k at retail alone. Hope this title will do 1 million retail and maybe 1.3 million retail + DD. That would be a pretty big confidence boost in mainstream JRPG sales potential IMO.
