If that's happen Final Fantasy is death in Japan.

ORAS third week was 170k. Even if Sun and Moon sells double that, under those numbers for Final Fantasy is a doomed territory.

...Also, rememb our bet right? FF XV must do at least 750k first week or you lose.

I remember. That said, i think Being Optimistic for pokemon and pessimistic for FFXV i can see it being in the range of 500k vs 499k :p (retail)

I still think its safe to say FFXV will be no less than 550k but no more than 950k at this rate.

I'm generus. I already know it won't do over 750k, but since i like you, let's just make that freaking Smash Bros fight and the bet is avoid.

Since this week, Final Fantasy XV is starting to have more presence at stores. The Luna Edition is also being advertised, but it's not that popular, though.

Regarding pre-orders, at Traders Akiba they have a big ad outside about Cyber Dimension Neptunia. Sofmap Akiba, has some stand outside the store to show Akiba's beat. And Yakuza, Fate and Gundam were popular also. On 3DS, Sukiyaki is not doing hot, though.

Nintendo surely got a good effect after Switch presentation and their meetings with retailer. Famicom Mini has some space dedicated. Sushi and Tempura, and some little shops being price-slashed again.
