Still? Since April 2016, when Capcom released their finantial results, they said that they expect Monster Hunter Stories to sell LESS than a million LIFE TO DATE. We don't know how much less than a million though (800k? 500k? <500k?). Of course it won't sell one million, and obviously not first week. Instead of that, there's another Monster Hunter game planned to be release before March 2017, aim to sell two million. The game hasn't be announced yet, it's probably MHX G (Generations Ultimate) for 3DS.

Wow,I think that I must have missed something. anyway, less than a million lifetime for a monster hunter game really disappointed me.

Battlefield 1
When P5 is released, BF1 will be at 36 days and it should start to trend upwards around that time. BF4 opened well over 100k PS3/X360 combined, for PS4 it was a launch title and did just under 25k first week. EA has been prepping the audience (worldwide) for BF1 with cheap digital sales of BF4 and BF: Hardline and if I'm not completely wrong I've seen these BF games on Japan digital charts for some time now.

You could be right, lately western games has got very good sale numbers in japan
