FF15 already saw several pre-launch marketing pushes. TGS and the actual launch marketing are the last hope. It will be interesting to see if retailers still order an insane amount despite the up till now lukewarm at best preorder performance. The only chance it doesn´t get quite fast into bargain bins is, if retailers actually adjust to the seemingly big decline in relevance.
I will be updating daily from now on. A few hours after Boutros post the numbers. I will also add Lightning Returns to the comparison.

Apparantly nothing is moving apart from pokemon lol.
FF15 performance looks on par with puzzle and Dragons at least on that graph. Still don't think it will do as bad as comg suggests.

It'll do better me thinks too (ratio wise), but FF is on a whole other level of bad. Its an established franchise though this one in particular more of western style rpg than the traditional jrpg but still. FFXV can do 50% less than FFXIII lifetime and it'll still be worse than YW franchise or PD major decline.
That said FF still doing 1mil-1.2mil lifetime wouldn't be "That Bad" but it falls under lets say 700k-750k.... I wouldn't kno wat to say tbh. Maybe FFXIII really did hurt FF in General? Im starting to believe FFVII will do more than 15 now (despite being sold in parts)

Look at the sales trend of Final Fantasy XIII to Final Fantasy XIII 2 and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and you tell me what effect the XIII saga had on the franchise. The XIII saga ran the mainline series straight into the ground hard. This being a western-style RPG isn't helping matters. Also, XV spent a LONG time in development hell, that's rarely conducive to success.
