Wind Waker HD bombed, that's the only Zelda game that sold very bad in Japan. And here just for one game we're calling the entire franchise a bomb. Also, Nintendo deserved that fail in Japan.

Dragon Quest Heroes II all Skus will sell less than Dragon Quest Heroes. 

But the PS4 version of DQHII will outsell the PS4 version of DQH. The decline will happen basically for the big drop of the PS3 version, that won't be covered by PSV and the growth of PS4.

Ok so tbone was wrong when he corrected me and said Zelda always did bad.  Thanks for the info.  It's a bad sign that WW HD bombed and it looks like it will happen again.  Surely Zelda U will do better but how much better is the question. 

 

And that's super news. I'd be delighted to see the ps4 SKU grow!  And the vita getting in on it too is good.

How were you only talking about home console Zeldas? And why cant we just talk Zelda overall...

 

As for im wrong, what am I wrong about? That said LoZ WW HD sold 130k+ from a 850k+ game. Thats not as bad as your making it out to be. Besides a remake doing 100k is bad now huh?

Yeah Zelda on console isn't setting the world alight.  Not impressing on comg.  It's on of Nintendos biggest IPs in a country where Nintendo is strong and it's not going to do great.  

 

The Wii U has barely any releases so owners haven't much choice apart from this game.  That should increase sales but it won't.  

 

My original comment on this was:

I stand by this and under 200k isn't very much in my book.

In your book. YOUR Book. It has to sell over 200k just to do good, yet you were talking about SF5 doing great if it does over 100k lifetime. A main game vs a remake. OK buddy

No I just said 200k because it's well above what this will sell.  SFV in my book is not good in Japan.  It's expected.  Just like Zelda is not good in Japan but also expected.  

 

HENCE why I said:

Stop pretending like you think Zelda TP will do good on WIU in Japan.  Because it won't.  It will do expectedly low numbers.  No surprise but still worth mentioning.

My comment never stated it's going to do well. It's that Zelda is big in Japan (Not that big but it's still huge frachise)  And doing 200k would be amazing. 

 

That said your nintendo expectations are a little wonky tbh. Rules that don't apply to Sony but to nintendo only. Like your comment for SFV having a good ratio but Zelda ratio is one of the best on comg
