First Day Sell-Through {2015.06.11}

[3DS] Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ (Nintendo) (¥5.076) - 60%

----

- Surprising first day sales for Rhythm Heaven: The Best+
- From kids to adults, a wide range of users.
- Commercials are helping, nostalgic feeling is transmitted.
- Nintendo should send new shipments or stock problems will happen.

Isn't that a bit...contradictory ? There's still 40% stock left and Nintendo should resupply ?

Also, Ace Attorney's finally here !

A game like Rhythm Heaven isn't frontloaded, and sells almost half of FW copies on the weekend. 60% first day sell-through for this kind of game is pretty high.

Do we have digital estimates yet outside of the eShop?

Not yet.

But using Nintendo's LTD eshop ranking, Splatoon is placed second.

According to Famitsu digital estimates, Super Smash Bros for Wii U placed 8th, has sold 43.550 units through the eshop. That's the minimum for Splatoon.

Note that Nintendo's ranking includes Download codes and purchased directly in the eshop, and Famitsu estimates are just eshop sales, since they include download codes in retail numbers (this means that when Famitsu estimates for Splatoon comes out, maybe they might not be that high due to codes being tracked on the retail ranking).

Nobody trust eShop ranking lol.

US digital Splatoon was ahead of Hyrule Warriors on its 8th day. HW according to NPD in its first month (or should i say 2nd week) was over 21k.

US Splatoon 21k+ Digital. Dunno if NPD 136k figure included digital though.

Splatoon Digital in japan i wouldn't be surprised if it were 100k+ by its third week. 45k+ was guaranteed awhile ago

Good day for KanColle, Persona and Drum Master!
All 3 will be part of the best selling Vita games in Japan.
Persona could do 250k
Drum Master could do 300k
KanColle could do 500-700k (???)

I think you are overshooting Persona there. Arena didn't quite break 200K. Granted the Vita already has persona fans on it, so I can see it doing on par with Arena.

Interesting that they count those codes as digital sales. There must be a very small number of them or otherwise we'd have seen an even discrepancy in the MC/Famitsu the past two weeks.

http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=persona+4%3A+arena - VGChartz says that Persona 4: Arena did 270k in Japan.
