I am glad to see that Splatoon is doing exceptionally well with pre-orders. It should have a very strong first week.
That said, I think for these types of games (heavily multiplayer focused), maintaining strong legs is more important than having strong first week sales, as that will help ensure a consistent multiplayer base.
Here's hoping that Splatoon exceeds expectations!
