Guys it's the same every year. People don't pre-order as much during the holidays because they already buy a lot of stuff for gifts and other end of the year expenses. And most games either release before the holidays or a coule of months after. Even big 3DS games which are a couple of months away wouldn't do that well at this time of the year.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

~23k is still impressive, even with GTA5. Tha's far more than 2-3k boost.

While points are low at the moment, these charts still seem pretty interesting to me.

I don't see how games getting 50+ points a day are so exciting when you already know they are going to end with 2000+ points. As long as games are coming in over/under expectations, it is all the same.
