Yeah, that's weird, but it seems to be the suggested retail price. I found it for ￥6,637 at Amazon and .￥6,280 at Rakuten.

3D World was ￥4,908 and MK8 ￥5,242 at COMG.

@boutros, are you sure that game will manage to have a LT of 3 times its FW?


Yes, all the Souls fan will get a PS4 for this game, so with a bundle, it should sell more ( Dark Souls 1 sold more than 500k, and Dark Souls 2 was going to sell more, until Bloodborne announcement) , being the first Souls game with a bundle + big marketing as a first party, it can only sell more than any other Souls game on PS3

Bloodborne wooooo!! I can see it selling 200k+ FW in Japan.

I wonder if some other retailer has a Smash deal which can explain the streak of COMG cancellations

Well this is just one small chain of stores and i think there is another SKU. Also last i heard, it was on the top 5 on amazon japan.

I'm assuming you're using VGC numbers for that.  VGC has counted original Dragon's Dogma + Dark Arisen all on one SKU.  So the legs aren't as good as you think.  DD probably sold less than 2 x its FW sales in actuality (end of 2012 sales - 500k).

While it's impossible to replicate Demon's Souls legs, it can certainly have some staying power if it's good and advertised well.

IMHO, for now my Smash Bros U prediction are 250K first week in Japan.

If will be bad this day, my prediction will dropped -200K.
