What? It's not that low. Media Create numbers from Top 1000 2013 and other years. Except Dark Souls II, I used Famitsu, cause MC Top 1000 2014 is not available yet. [PS3] Demon's Souls (Sony Computer Entertainment) {2009.02.05} (¥7.800) - 170.512 [PS3] Demon's Souls (PlayStation 3 the Best) (Sony Computer Entertainment) {2010.02.25} (¥3.800) - 212.780
[PS3] Dark Souls (From Software) {2011.09.22} (¥7.800) - 361.829 [PS3] Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (From Software) {2012.10.25} (¥4.800) - 140.811
[PS3] Dark Souls II (From Software) {2014.03.13} (¥7.800) - 335.226 [360] Dark Souls II (From Software) {2014.03.13} (¥7.800) - 8.417 *Note: the first Dark Souls was a PS3 exclusive in Japan Dark Souls II can still sell a little more this year and reach 350k between both versions. That's not a drop comparing Demon Souls (380k) and Dark Souls (360k). I expect Bloodborne selling around 350k too. And that's not niche -.- lol |
I never used the words niche. It would definitely mean that people are getting burnt out and the fanbase isn't growing. Stagnating/slightly lower sales isn't a good thing. That's what I was getting at.
