It's simple : it's out of the question that I have two consoles in my room.

When Sony cut the BC on the PS3 for PS2 well I though "screw them, I'm going to pirate and emulate it on my PC".

If they release the PS4 without BC, then I'm simply keeping the PS3 until I can emulate it and make room for lower priced PS4.

Exactly. I already have a lot of stuff in our living-room - another console is really out of question. My girlfriend would kill me. I really hope Nextbox will have bc, otherwise I won't enter nextgen for a very long time.

Dont care about it at all. I never use the thing in my ps3

Is it really so hard to keep your old consoles in a safe place and take them out and plug them in in the rare occasion that you want to play one of your old games?

i know, right? i still have my n64, nes, snes but never even think about touching the things....

I still have a ps3 and two ps2, I don't need it. However, could be cool to have the cloud gaming option for the ex xbox players who want to play ps3 ip before the sequel comes out

I actually would love the option. But, with that said, I'm actually prepping my 60gig PS3 to replace my slim PS3. I was gonna update the harddrive to 500 gig and put all my PSN games on there once I'm done disc based games (Long story short Uncharted 2 breaks the lenses of older PS3s). So I'll have my PS3 that plays my PS1,PS2 and PS3 games beside my PS4. On another note, from what I was reading, PS4s won't play cds so PS1 discs won't play on them regardless of emulation or not.

Yes.

I'd pay for it in the form of a Gaikai subscription for sure.

No I have the PS3 for that.

Yeah, having to re-buy the games and not getting your save files sucks!

Why not just keep the console and games? o.O

Thats probably what I'm going to have to do :/

I make videos that are sometimes funny I think?

Check out my Youtube gaming channel here!

i'd pay up to $100 for BC but i kind of just hope for some sort of ambassador program with BC via gaikai streaming. their is only 5 or so games i'd really want to port over and keep playing next gen anyways.
