vgchartz says the 3ds won this month in america...but i dont believe it yet, but in 2013 i believe the 3ds will take some monthes away, pokemon in october just might do it. What do you guys think?

Isn't the 360 getting a $99 redesign? I'm gonna say no.

No offense why does it matter? an 8 year old console vs a fairly new handheld not exactly fair to compare the two in terms of sales.

It will. Pokemon is a factor but more so is the nexbox. I have a feeling both ps3 and 360 sales will drop like rocks once the predecessors arrive. It's good to see the 3DS doing great. Handheld gaming is more than hanging on.

I agree with this...but not only because an old console vs a new handheld is a silly comparison.

I mean, why does it matter what has the most sales anyway? It's not like you win a trophy for supporting the company that had the most sales.....the company that did doesn't get anything...possibly not even the highest profits. I only owned a Gamecube during that particular gen of consoles. I owned a ton of games, played even more, and loved every minute of it. I was completely oblivious to the sales comparison, it didn't matter that PS2 sold like crazy, it didn't interest me at the time. I didn't hate or bash others that owned one or an xbox.....there was no such thing as a console war to me. I owned what I owned and that was that.

People get so hung up on sales like it actually affects them in the slightest. What's the point?
