I agree with this...but not only because an old console vs a new handheld is a silly comparison.

I mean, why does it matter what has the most sales anyway? It's not like you win a trophy for supporting the company that had the most sales.....the company that did doesn't get anything...possibly not even the highest profits. I only owned a Gamecube during that particular gen of consoles. I owned a ton of games, played even more, and loved every minute of it. I was completely oblivious to the sales comparison, it didn't matter that PS2 sold like crazy, it didn't interest me at the time. I didn't hate or bash others that owned one or an xbox.....there was no such thing as a console war to me. I owned what I owned and that was that.

People get so hung up on sales like it actually affects them in the slightest. What's the point?
