erm, what? The game is being made by Precursor Games, so if you are implying that you will take Nintendo's version because Nintendo will be in charge of the WiiU version, it isn't like that. Precursor Games will make both versions and they are open to make later versions for other platforms as well. |
He was referring to the topic of the thread. If Shadow of the Eternals and Eternal Darkness 2 BOTH existed, he would by the one made by Nintendo (ED2)
Personally, I don't see that happening as Nintendo doesn't just hand out dev kits to people who say, "I want to make a game." According to the screen grab that was taken, the project already has $10k funded, which would more than account for a Wii U dev kit, probably 2. Since it is a planned Wii U release, Dyack had to get confirmed as a Wii U developer, so Nintendo knows this exists and likely wouldn't put out a product that would cannibalize the bejeesus out of its sales. They probably renewed the copyright so there wouldn't be any need for some weird legal dispute in the future.
If this doesn't get the funding it needs, I would love Nintendo to pull a Bayonetta 2 and save the project...even if by only funding what is left and getting an exclusive Roivas cameo or something.
