Forums - Nintendo - Great Wiiu Graphics in the new Splinter Cell

That's the same trailer as the one where they have all versions at the end...I'm willing to bet a 3 month ban that this was not the WiiU version. Was likely the PC version.

I kinda doubt that because the PC version should look significantly better.

I'm just happy to see mercs vs spies back.. Now seemingly 4 vs 4 which could be awseome or completly balance breaking with the mercs balling up together..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

That didn't look like game play to me... it would be very annoying moving a character across screen with a still camera.

Graphics look pretty normal to me sorry :/

Seen graphics alot better than this YEARS ago.

We can't have games on Wii U looking good.

SMASH THIS THREAD TO SHIT.

"Graphics"

"WiiU"

It honestly doesn't look very impressive but mostly cause the artstyle. Can't stand dim games.

I personally agree that I'd rather see more games have their own unique art style and look instead of ALL going for this terribly generic "realistic" (but not) look.

But Wii U will absolutely, at the end of the day, have some of the best looking games of the generation, regardless of what trolls and tech nerds prowling the internets seem to think.

More like "This isn't the wiiU version but here's a thread saying this proves the wiiu version has great graphics" and people's responses to that.

Don't put words in my fingers.

Maybe I'm just not as easily impressed as I used to be, but I can't really say that those graphics are incredibly impressive to me. The pre-rendered cutscenes look spectacular, but the few shots that actually take place from a 1st person perspective (i.e. actual gameplay) look like your everyday military FPS style of graphic design.

Of course, graphics rarely mean much of anything to me (unless they're actually interesting or impactful in some way like the ones in Okami were), so I'm probably not that great of a judge to begin with. Still, I can't say it looks all that different from other trailers I've watched.

As Pezus says, this is most likely NOT Wii U gameplay, though honestly it doesn't look like anything Wii U couldn't handle either; lighting, animation and textures are so-so.

It's got nothing on, say, Monolith Soft's X, which is still unrivaled as far as Wii U graphics go. (Unless you count the E3 2011 Zelda demo, which is also mighty impressive)

Summary: There's no way to know if this is the WiiU version, but considering the history of gameplay trailers...this isn't it.

Im bad, I post then read comments after I've already posted lol but this thread was boring so I didnt bother reading to many posts :P
